The Tour de Trossachs mountain time trial.

    Ivy CC Home
Peace race winner Ian Steel, continental pro Billy Bilsland, Tour "King of the mountains" Robert Millar, hour record holder Graeme Obree have all got one thing in common. They have all won this classic Scottish race.

Our own club treasurer Ian Thomson has won it, holding the record for the course for 14 years until a certain Mr Millar took it off him !  That record was smashed in turn 12 years later by Graeme Obree.  Of course, more recently Jason McIntyre broke the new course record by a huge margin.

Run since 1943 by the West of Scotland Clarion and by Jim Harris for many of those years the Ivy are proud to have taken over the running of the race since Jim retired from running it in 2005.

A tough climb, technical descent, rough roads, sharp bends fast flat sections and short power climbs. This course has it all.
